Hero MotoCorp, the leading manufacturer of two-wheelers in India, has introduced its latest flagship model, the Mavrick 440. Collaboratively developed with Harley-Davidson, this motorcycle is built upon the X440 roadster platform. Marking a significant milestone for the company, the Mavrick stands as Hero MotoCorp’s inaugural entry into the premium segment of 400cc and above bikes. Upon its release, the Mavrick is poised to rival competitors such as the Triumph Speed 400 and its counterpart, the Harley-Davidson X440.

Anticipated to make its debut in India in February 2024, the Hero Mavrick 440 is projected to be priced between ₹1,80,000 and ₹2,00,000. Comparable bikes presently available in the market include the Suzuki Gixxer 250, KTM 200 Duke, and Royal Enfield Bullet 350. Adding to the competition is the upcoming KTM 125 Duke [2024], set to launch in March 2024.

Developed in collaboration with Harley-Davidson and based on the X440, the Hero Mavrick 440 shares components and the 440cc engine with its counterpart. The oil-cooled motor produces an impressive 27bhp and 36Nm, coupled with a six-speed gearbox featuring an assist and slipper clutch for a smooth and dynamic riding experience.

The Mavrick 440 caters to diverse preferences with three variants and a choice of five colors. The base model features spoke wheels, while the mid-spec offers alloy wheels. The top-tier variant boasts machined alloy wheels. The available color options include Arctic White, Celestial Blue, Fearless Red, Phantom Black, and Enigma Black.
